My cat is awesome! He is very vocal (sounds like a child wailing when he's begging for food). I finally got some weight off of him, went from 18 pounds - my parents let him get fat while I was gone!! - down to 12 pounds. He is still a big kitty. He is on a diet. He loves his nightly ritual of climbing on top of me and then pawing at the blanket until I let him under the blankets. He snuggles up next to me and keeps kneading his paws into my neck. Super annoying when I am trying to sleep, but it is so sweet that I can't be mad. He has done this routing since he was a kitten, and he is 12 now!

I've never known a cat quite like mine. It's like having a child around. Every morning without fail she will roll around by your feet so you can stroke her. It's her way of greeting you. Then she will sharpen her claws on the scratch pad, do her little stretch and then meow till you have fed her. Once she has filled her belly she is off out for the day.

These are my land ladys cats, they are barely 1 year old and i look after them when she goes away. I tend to think of them as my niece and nephew =0)

max is a little strange in his own little way
he wont drink fresh or tap water but out of the fish tank
he can open the fridge door just to get to the chicken roll
all the neighbourghs know him an they some times feed him
i met one of my friends through max about a yr ago

Does anybody else have a cat that stands on the spot and marches with its back legs so that the cat's bum and tail vibrate - she purrs at the same time. My son thinks she's doing the Grand Old Duke Of York! Does anybody know what it means?
